Howdy, all!

I just wanted to start a thread for all members of the Metro East in IPhA where we could introduce ourselves. I'm always excited to meet other pharmacists and technicians in the area and I hope you are, too. I'll start:

My name is Harry Zollars, and I'm an SIUE School of Pharmacy grad of the 2013 class. I initially worked for Walgreens and have since moved to work for Sullivan's Drugs in Mount Olive. Independent pharmacy is a lot more my speed because I like the increased attention on personal connection with my patients as well as the flexibility it affords to get people the right treatment. There are a lot of challenges that come along with the enjoyment and value I see in independent pharmacy and that's why I feel it's extremely important to be connected with organizations like IPhA. But I also see that there is a lot of value for many other practices across the state, especially for the Metro East.
